Mountain West Conference releases football schedule

The Mountain West Conference released its football schedule today, and UNLV's season will go into early December for the second year in a row thanks to two bye weeks.

UNLV opens with five non-conference opponents before entering full time into Mountain West play. The Rebels play Mountain West newcomer Boise State at home on Nov. 5, and conclude the season Dec. 3 at Texas Christian in the Horned Frogs' final MWC game before leaving for the Big East Conference.

The byes are Oct. 1 and Oct. 22.

Sept. 10 — at Washington State

Sept. 17 — Hawaii

Sept. 24 — Southern Utah

Oct. 8 — at UNR

Oct. 15 — at Wyoming

Oct. 29 — Colorado State

Nov. 5 — Boise State

Nov. 12 — at New Mexico

Nov. 19 — at Air Force

Nov. 26 — San Diego State

Dec. 3 — at Texas Christian
