Mr. Horsford goes to Washington

Newly elected Democratic leader of the Nevada Senate, Stephen Horsford, went to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

Speculation swirls that the up-and-coming politico from North Las Vegas, who was a supporter of Barack Obama in Nevada when as a Democrat it was cool to only be a supporter of Hillary Clinton, is in line for a political appointment in the Obama administration.

I won't speculate why he was in Washington. But, it seems to me if he gets offered most anything (like assistant secretary of something or other) in this historic administration, it would be hard to say "no". Besides, who wants to go to Carson City as a legislator these days. Nothing but hard decisions.
