MUSIC: Free blues at Boulder Station

It’s a night of the blues, but you’ll have no reason to have them.
Tonight, The Railhead at Boulder Station restarts its great free weekly blues series where national headliners play the room every Thursday for no cover.
In a city where you have to take out a second mortgage on your home to get loaded and catch a show at many clubs, this is definitely a welcome return.
Tonight’s installment features soulful rocker Anthony Gomes, while future shows boast such established names as Coco Montoya (Dec. 11), John Lee Hooker Jr. (Jan. 15), Guitar Shorty (Feb. 19) and plenty of others.
Go to www.boulderstation.com/entertainment/railhead/blues/ for the full lineup.
All shows start at 8 p.m.
