MUSIC: Rejoice! Leonard Cohen is coming to Vegas

Hear that sound? Like 1,500 12-year-old girls squealing as if their legs were caught in bear traps?
Sorry. It’s just us, struggling to contain our excitement now that we’ve learned that the immortal Leonard Cohen, one of the greatest living songwriters with a voice that sounds as if it was descended from on high, is coming to Vegas.
That’s right, the 74-year-old troubadour is scheduled to come to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Nov. 12.
Though the show has yet to be officially confirmed by the venue, the date has been posted on Cohen’s Web site as part of the second leg of his North American tour.
You may never get another chance to see the reclusive Cohen, so don’t miss out.
Stay tuned for more details on when tickets go on sale.
