Hop along and help greet the Easter Bunny at Spring KidFest, planned from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16 at The Boulevard mall in the JCPenney East Court, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway.

The Easter Bunny will be available for photos during the event and for seating portraits until April 23.

Spring KidFest is free and open to the public. Complimentary activities for the family are planned.

Events planned at Lifestyle Center

Stay informed and have fun, for free, with other seniors at the Southwest Medical Associates Lifestyle Center, 5820 S. Eastern Ave. Suite 100, this week.

Registration is still open to consult with a pharmacist between 9 a.m. and noon Thursday during the weekly Pharmacist on Site event. Bring in current or expired prescriptions and have questions answered by a professional.

Linda Bocchino is scheduled to lead line dancing from 10-11 a.m. Thursday to help seniors stay active.

Breast Cancer Support group meetings set at Sunrise Hospital's breast center

Sufferers, survivors and those recently diagnosed with breast cancer are encouraged to meet and mingle at bimonthly support group meetings offered by Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.

The free support group plans to gather from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 5 and 19 in the hospital's Breast Center, 3006 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 250.

United Way to announce
fundraising results

United Way of Southern Nevada is set to hold its campaign finale at 11:30 a.m. May 25 at the Gold Coast, 4000 W. Flamingo Road.

Presented by sponsors NV Energy, Southwest Gas Corp. and USAA Savings Bank, the United Way will announce the community's impact on the total dollars raised during the annual campaign season. The organization's goal was to raise $12.4 million for the 2011 campaign.

Tickets are $40 per person or $400 for a table of 10, and they are available through May 18.
