New headaches for Romney?

Mitt Romney may leave Nevada with a strong caucus victory, "but he might be developing new ulcers over the trendlines that are shaping his presumed matchup with Barack Obama in the fall," according to Michael Crowley on Time.com.

While Romney supporters contend the primary season is leaving their man more battle-tested, polls "show that he has become steadily less popular, and his unfavorability rating has shot up 20 points between late November and late January," Crowley notes.

At the same time President Barack Obama seems to be on the mend, buoyed by economic numbers that are encouraging, at least at this moment.

A lot can happen between now and November, Crowley points out.  "But although Mitt Romney will likely take another step towards the nomination in Nevada on Saturday, he may be wondering whether Barack Obama is still one step ahead of him."
