New releases for July 22

James Patterson returns with yet another new book this week.
In “The Dangerous Days of Daniel X,” Daniel has special powers. He can change himself into any shape he chooses and manipulate objects and animals with his mind. After his parents are murdered, he uses those powers to track down their killer and take on his father’s role as an alien hunter.
Another book coming out that might be popular with readers is Jerry B. Jenkins' "Riven." Jenkins is best known for the Left Behind series. I read some of these, and while the sci-fi aspects were fun, Jenkins and his co-author can't write women to save their lives. Female characters are either shrews or Betty Crockers. Hope he does better with "Riven."
Here are some other books coming to shelves near you:
“Damage Control: A Novel of Suspense” by J.A. Jance
  “Moscow Rules” by Daniel Silva
“Into the Fire” by Suzanne Brockmann
  “Breaking Cover” by J.D. Rhoades
“Tiny Little Troubles” by Marc Lecard
“The Three of Us” by Julia Blackburn
“When We Were Romans” by Matthew Kneale
