New releases for June 17
The big new release this week is the latest from Janet Evanovich, but here's another that I'm curious about: "Made in the U.S.A." by Billie Letts.
Fifteen-year-old Luttie McFee lives in Yankton, S.D., with her brother, Fate, who is 9, and Floy Satterfield, her father's 300 pound ex-girlfriend. Luttie's mom is dead and her father abandoned his family after heading to Las Vegas in search of easy money.
The kids have some unusual ways of entertaining themselves, and after a tragic event leaves them even more alone, they head to Vegas in search of their father.
I'd love to hear from someone who reads this book. It sounds interesting.
Here are some other books coming out this week:
"Fearless Fourteen (Stephanie Plum Mystery Series No. 14)" by Janet Evanovich
“The Sister” by Poppy Adams
“More than It Hurts You” by Darin Strauss
