New releases for week of Oct. 13
There are plenty of interesting new releases to pick from this week, including several of interest to young adults. Check back soon for a review of John Saul's "House of Reckoning." I can already tell you it's pretty scary.

“Nine Dragons” by Michael Connelly: The latest in the series featuring Harry Bosch finds the LAPD detective investigating the murder of a shop owner. Bosch recruits help from the Asian Gang Unit and soon discovers a connection to a Hong Kong crime ring. Things get personal fast when Bosch receives a video of his daughter being kidnapped in Hong Kong, and he travels to an area known as Nine Dragons to rescue her and take down the lethal Hong Kong triad responsible for her abduction.
And for the tweeners, Jeff Kinney’s newest installment to the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series is expected out this week. In “Dog Days,” Greg Heffley and his mom are at odds over how he should be spending his summer. He wants to play video games. She wants him to enjoy some family time outside. Meanwhile, a new addition to the Heffley family could change everything.
