New Tea Party ad defends Angle
A new Tea Party TV ad out today defends Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle's conservative credentials.
It says the nation's "silent majority" is looking for more conservatives to fight against too much spending and too much government in Washington.
The ad also slams the "liberal media" and Republican Party establishment for trying to make fun of the former Reno assemblywoman's staunch anti-tax and anti-big government ways.
"While some liberals might find it funny to mock Sharron Angle we the people, or the silent majority, know we need more conservatives like Sharron Angle to take back our country," says the 60-second TV ad that will air statewide.
The new ad comes as Angle continues to collect endorsements from conservative talk show hosts and groups in the finals days before the June 8 primary.
The latest group expected to jump on board the Angle train is FreedomWorks. It plans to announce its endorsement during a call-in "radiothon" for Angle tonight between 6-8 p.m. on Las Vegas station KXNT 840 AM.
