Newland Communities donates to charity
Through a $20,000 donation from Newland Communities, project manager and developer at Union Park in downtown Las Vegas, HomeAid Southern Nevada created a Summer Healthy Living Program to assist local nonprofit agencies in need of air conditioning repair during the hot summer months.
One of the organizations to benefit from this program is Boys Hope Girls Hope, which was awarded a grant to underwrite the cost of three new air conditioning units for the Boys Home at their aging Las Vegas facility.
HomeAid Southern Nevada is dedicated to partnering service providers with the building industry. The organization is best known for securing Pardee Homes and its subcontractors to oversee and contribute a $1 million renovation of St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder City.
Newland Communities is one of the country's largest privately owned development companies that creates residential and urban mixed-use communities from coast-to-coast. It has nearly 40 communities underway in 14 states.
