Non-profits declare support for health reform legislation

A troika of non-profit organizations declare support for Democrat-led health reform legislation in Congress. AARP, American Cancer Society and American Medical Associations on board, says Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-Nev.

Here's what AARP CEO Barry Rand had to say about the issue: “We’ve read the Affordable Health Care for America Act and we can say with confidence that it meets those goals with improved benefits for people in Medicare and needed health insurance market reforms to help ensure every American can purchase affordable health coverage.”
