Now this is leadership

 New Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval has called for several reforms to public education (including vouchers) and the creation of a new retirement plan for new employees.

These are tremendously important reforms. The details need to be worked out, of course, for these are big steps in the right direction.

You can bet that organized labor will fight tooth and nail to stop any effort to eliminate their public gravy train. Nevadans, however, need these reforms, just as most states in the nation, do.
