Nuclear Nevada’s ‘green’ solution
A Review-Journal reader passed along this article by Troy Wade with this recommendation: "This may be the best article ever written about why nuclear power is the key element of our future energy independence." Wade is the principal of Wade Associates, an executive management consulting firm specializing in nuclear activities and is chairman of the Nevada Alliance for Defense, Energy and Business -- a trade group representing contractors, suppliers and others interested in the Nevada Test Site, the Nellis Bombing and Gunnery Range and other federal activities in the state of Nevada.
The Complete Las Vegan passes this article along for your edification. If Wade is right and "nuclear power is humanity's next great industrial advance" then Nevada through Yucca Mountain may be (despite the wailing of local politicians) at ground zero for the revolution.
No, I am not sorry for that "ground zero" pun.
