Number of active voters increases

Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller says the number of active, registered voters increased by about 5,000 statewide after several months of steady or declining results.

According to a statement from Miller: "Non-Partisans registered at a higher rate than Republicans or Democrats, increasing their ranks by 1,166 or .71% to 164,319. There were 458, 218 active registered Democrats, up 1,686 or .37%, and 394,656 active Republicans, up 1,736 or .44%."

At the end of the month Miller reports there "were 1,075,101 active registered voters on March 31, up 5,265 or about a half of a percent, from February."
