Obama coup: Mei Xiang and Tian Tian Can Stay!
The National Zoo can keep Mei Xiang and Tian Tian for five more years. We owe China and our fearless and principled leader President Barack Obama a debt of gratitude. What a gift for American zoo-goers everywhere.
Of course, Liu Xiaobo won't be going to the zoo anytime soon. Dissident Nobel Peace Prize winners in China go to jail, not the zoo.
But I'm sure President Obama will get working on that asap now that the state dinner for China is over and Mei Xiang and Tian Tian deal is complete.
