Obama’s bumbling Intelligence crew
The Director of National Intelligence James Clapper takes an interview from ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer. She asks him about the arrests of 12 suspected terrorists in London. Clapper does a hem and haw and doesn't answer the question.
Initially, the Obama crew said he didn't answer the question because Sawyer's question was too "ambiguous". Later, they admitted that this country's National Intelligence director had not been briefed on the arrests.
The White House is spinning the story to make it like Clapper was too busy with far more important intelligence things to be briefed before the interview.
But given the history of lack of communication on intelligence matters in the age of Obama, this is the kind of anecdote that ought to worry Americans. Not to mention the initial feeble cover-up of course.
