Obama’s Fairness Workshop — Nationalize the Super Bowl

Today I'm starting a new online workshop designed to provide ideas to Barack "Mr. Fairness" Obama. Feel free to chime in on ideas you feel worthy of the Obama Administration. Remember, to qualify the ideas must be totally unfair to a small voting group and become a give-away to a large voting group. Class warfare, as you know, is always a good thing in ObamaLand.

For example, a worthy Obama idea might be to nationalize the Super Bowl. It is, after all, an event of national importance. Why should small groups of fat cats benefit from what really is a federal jurisdiction?

Did you know that the average Super Bowl ad will sell from about $3.5 million. Well, excuse me. In the first place, that's way too much money. It isn't fair. Some rich company out there will produce a 30-second commercial, write most of it off their taxes when really it's the hive that makes it work.

So, let's tax right off the top 80 percent of the cost of that advertising and use it to subsidized something really important for "the people" -- say National Public Radio or Planned Parenthood.

And don't get me started on the rich players in the Super Bowl. Those guys are totally undeserving. Most of the players suited up this Sunday won't even play. Yet they get paid wheelbarrows full of money? Obama & Crew should just skim 80 percent of their pay and give it as foreign aid to South American countries with cancer-striken dictators who admire President Obama. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Well you get the idea. Mr. Fairness needs all the ideas he can get. He's saving the world, but he is going to need another four years to get the job done. And remember, no ideas that treat everyone the same. That's not Obama-style fairness. And gawd-forbid anyone come up with ideas that taxes the majority in favor of the minority. That's not the vision at all.

We'll make this an ongoing series and call it "Obama's Fairness Workshop." You can either add your ideas in the comments section, or e-mail me directly at Sherm@lvrj.com.

PS: Please, no one suggest that President Obama's staff -- the guys who actually come up with new ways to tax people unfairly -- actually pay their taxes. That would be way to fair. Now, get to work. The president needs you.
