Oh, how the (self) righteous fall
Oh, for goodness sake, governor. Or, should I say, former governor. After positioning himself as a righteous crusader against Wall Street greed, New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer proved he can't even control his own sweaty excesses. This darling of the Democratic Party and so-called "progressive" politics has been caught on a federal wiretap investigating a prostitution ring. In one fell swoop, he's gone from governor ... to "client #9".
The world hates a hypocrite, even in New York. You can bet this will be the political end of this pompous ass.
As a sidebar, how many pictures do you think there are of the governor of New York and the state's junior senator? Hillary won't be able to shred them fast enough.
