“Once A Marine:” Inspiring book

   I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Nick Popaditch, a retired Marine Corps tank gunner who was seriously wounded in the First Battle of Fallujah, earlier this week at the Leatherneck Club, a U.S.M.C. bar.

  Popaditch, the author of “Once a Marine,” has a plan to continue to contribute to the common good despite being forced into retirement by a rocket-propelled grenade that hit him in the helmet.
