Pair purchase their first Hyundai from Planet

Robert and Theresa Martinez of Las Vegas recently purchased a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe from Planet Hyundai Centennial.

“We have always purchased Fords in the past, but decided to go with the Hyundai,” Theresa Martinez said. “I have seen the cars out on the street and they look so nice.”

The couple said they visited all of the dealerships on Centennial Center Boulevard, but shied away from the others because of sales consultants who were too aggressive. However, when they stopped by Planet Hyundai Centennial, they were greeted by Rob Trujillo, a veteran automobile sales consultant.

“He approached us in a very friendly manner,” Theresa Martinez said. “He didn’t push us and instead showed us the line of Santa Fe models while also going and getting us some water. We felt comfortable with him right off the bat.”

The couple traded in their 2008 Ford van, which they bought new.

“Our van was clean as a whistle and we really had a hard time letting it go,” Theresa Martinez said. “But we couldn’t turn down the chance to have a new Hyundai. The dealership treated us very well with our trade, and Rob realized that the van was part of our family for a long time.

“Our new Hyundai has everything. It’s a seven-seater,” she said. “We really don’t need the room, but it’s so beautiful.”

Robert Martinez said he was equally as happy with the vehicle, the trade and the service they received.

“I drove away from another dealership because I didn’t like the way we were treated,” he said. “We didn’t need the pressure, so we ended up at Planet Hyundai Centennial.”

Robert Martinez praised the warranty.

“I immediately asked about the warranty,” he said. “I have been around a while and I was really impressed with the fact that the Santa Fe comes with a 10-year, 100,000-mile power train warranty along with a five-year, 60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.

“We feel protected buying a Hyundai. Now, all we have to do is take care of it; and I assure you that we’ll take care of our new Santa Fe.”
