Pardee Homes sponsors 10K race

Pardee Homes, the developer of the master-planned Eldorado community, was the title sponsor of the city of North Las Vegas Parks & Recreation Department's eighth annual Northern Exposure 10K Race and 2-Mile Family Run/Walk held in November.

The event began and ended at Seastrand Park in Pardee's Eldorado master-planned community, where the builder currently has two neighborhoods.

"Pardee Homes has been offering communities in North Las Vegas for many years and continues to offer a variety of new home designs -- from entry-level homes to floor plans with up to six bedrooms -- in the booming area," said Pardee Homes' Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell. "We have a great legacy in North Las Vegas, where we began developing Eldorado in the early 1990s, and we're proud to continue in North Las Vegas with new communities."

Located in Eldorado Highlands, on the north end of Pardee's Eldorado master-planned community and near Aliante, the EnergySmart neighborhood of Horizon features one- and two-story homes with up to five bedrooms and four baths in four floor plans that range from 2,027 to 3,010 square feet. Exteriors feature Spanish Colonial, Andalusian and Italian designs and prices start from the mid-$200,000s and home sites average about 6,000 square feet.

"Horizon is an EnergySmart neighborhood, which means that these homes are enhanced with money-saving and energy-efficient features including spectrally selective glass that will keep the homes cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter and additional ceiling insulation and sealed ducts for improved air quality and reduced energy loss," Tuvell said.

Every EnergySmart home is designed and independently certified to exceed local energy codes, according to Tuvell.

Pardee's Northpointe neighborhood, located just across the street from Horizon in Eldorado Highlands, features one- and two-story homes with up to six bedrooms and three baths in four floor plans that range from 2,321 to 3,861 square feet. Exteriors feature Spanish Colonial, Andalusian and Italian designs and prices start from the mid-$200,000s.

The Eldorado neighborhood includes a fire station, an elementary school named in honor of the late Pardee executive Lee Antonello, the adjacent Eldorado Park and the 23-acre Seastrand Park, donated by Pardee to the city of North Las Vegas.

Eldorado has grown into a mature community, according to Tuvell. It is located close to major shopping centers with grocery stores, restaurants, postal services, dentist offices and animal care, in addition to other services.

To visit the Horizon or Northpointe neighborhoods from Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit south on Aliante Parkway then turn left onto Deer Springs Way. Take Deer Springs east to Gentle Brook Street and turn right.

The sales offices and models are open from 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday.
