Pardee to open Solstice April 17
On April 17, Pardee Homes will celebrate the opening of its newest Southern Nevada neighborhood -- Solstice located in the master-planned Aliante community in North Las Vegas.
Grand opening events have been planned to coincide with Earth Day and include cooking demonstrations and family activities, each with a living green theme, as well as a guest appearance by local gardening authority Linn Mills, who will talk about growing vegetables and herbs in our desert climate.
The opening of Solstice in Aliante marks the first new home neighborhood to open in the master-planned community this year.
"Aliante has matured into one of the valley's premier master-planned communities with many new amenities and services and we're excited to once again offer new homes in this area," said Pardee Homes Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell.
Solstice is located just off Aliante Parkway and Nature Park Drive, within walking distance to the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park in Aliante, as well as close to retail and restaurants, schools, Aliante Library and access to Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway.
The five floor plans at Solstice will range from 2,337 to 3,959 square feet with up to six bedrooms. Prices at the gated neighborhood are anticipated to start from the low $200,000s.
Floor plans include such features as expanded three-car garages, bonus rooms, loft, optional office/library configuration, island kitchens and separate living and dining areas.
The neighborhood features the builder's LivingSmart brand that offers standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency and conserve water and materials.

In 2009, Pardee Homes announced the company-wide expansion of its LivingSmart brand, a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes.
According to Tuvell, buyers of a new home from Pardee Homes can look forward to lower energy and water bills, healthier indoor air and greater indoor comfort.
Pardee Homes was also recently ranked highest in customer satisfaction and quality among new-home builders in Las Vegas, according to J.D. Power and Associates 2009 new-home builder customer satisfaction and new-home quality studies.
One of the West's largest and longest-established home builders, Pardee has built homes for more than 40,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952 and has developed several master-planned communities, including Spring Valley, Rancho Las Palmas, Eldorado and Nevada Trails.
All Pardee Homes' sales offices and model homes are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday. For more information, visit pardeehomes.com.
