Pardee’s Summerglen features designers’ work

Pardee Homes’ new Summerglen neighborhood in the southwest valley features three distinct model homes, each with interior design touches that are uniquely Las Vegas. The hometown personalization is the result of longtime Las Vegas interior designer and lifelong Las Vegas resident Leslie Parraguirre and her team at Colours Inc. — A Design Company.

“Pardee Homes has such a tremendous reputation that spans more than six decades in our community,” Parraguirre said. “We wanted to design the interiors at Summerglen to reflect their legacy in Southern Nevada, commitment to environmental sustainability and also acknowledge the neighborhood’s family appeal.”

An example of that strategy can be found in the color palette and accessories in the Plan Two downstairs bedroom, decorated for a fictional student at nearby Bishop Gorman High School. And, there are lots of features and accents that reflect modern families, like the dog bed and bowls found in the kitchen and family room of the Plan Three that are a nod to the many pets that are part of today’s homes and design elements that extend to the outdoors.

“We appreciate the opportunity to work with Pardee Homes on Summerglen and that they chose a local business for the project,” Parraguirre said. “And I’m excited for new home shoppers and families to tour these models and pick their favorite.”

Off of Sunset Road just west of Fort Apache Road in the southwest valley, Summerglen is a collection of three two-story floor plans that range in size up to 2,402 square feet of living space with as many as five bedrooms and patio covers and paver driveways are included as standard. Prices currently start from approximately $291,950.

Plan One at Summerglen measures 2,231 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths and a loft. The home includes a downstairs bedroom and bath and optional fifth bedroom in lieu of the loft.

“Plan One is a traditional Spanish home that we designed to parallel the exterior with medium wood tones, warm colors and interesting accessories to spice up the space,” said Parraguirre. “This plan features a spacious walk-in spa shower, a gorgeous outdoor living space and stunning knotty alder cabinetry.”

Summerglen Plan Two measures 2,385 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, loft or optional retreat or optional fifth bedroom.

“Plan Two includes a large loft perfect for family game night or having friends over for movies, a beautiful master suite and an outdoor entertaining area,” Parraguirre said.

The Plan Three at Summerglen measures 2,402 square feet with four bedrooms, 2½ baths and optional loft in lieu of the fourth bedroom.

“This model has a French Provencal theme with driftwood finishes, fresh linen cabinetry, formal living room, a family room, large eat-in kitchen and a very spacious laundry room,” said Parraguirre.

Pardee’s award-winning LivingSmart program for greener living is included in Summerglen homes, offering more than 30 standard and optional features that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage the use of sustainable resources, according to company officials.

Summerglen has access to the 215 Beltway via Sunset Road and is near established retail, dining, professional and medical services, including Southern Hills Hospital.

Also nearby are top-rated public and private schools, Wet ‘n’ Wild Water Park and Clark County’s new 8.1-acre Wilbur and Theresa Faiss Park, named by the student council at adjacent Faiss Middle School.
