PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“Greysen Chartreaux, 6 months, is quite the character around the house,” wrote Seanna Shannon of Las Vegas. “In addition to playing in his water dish and hiding out in the kitchen pantry, he is quite the little cat burglar. I am still looking for my mascara and eye drops. He is known around here as the kitten with the silver mittens. I adopted Greysen from the Henderson Animal Shelter. They are good people!”

“This is Muneca,” wrote Delfina Machado of North Las Vegas. “She likes to play and cuddle. She’s a very sleepy puppy but very friendly with everyone. She likes being outside and taking walks.”

“We keep looking at the Best Friend photos and saying to each other that our dogs are so much cuter. So here is a picture of Ruby, left, and Payton. They are best buddies. Payton is a 2-year-old Yorkie-Maltese mix, and Ruby is a 6-year-old white German shepard/husky mix.” Submitted by Ruby’s owner, Terri Robertson, and Payton’s owner, Ashley Domingo.

“Spring has sprung in the LasVegas Valley,” wrote Darlene and Don Hart. “Wesson, our 9 1/2-year-old black standard poodle, and Cabo, our 15-month-old sable phantom standard poodle, are admiring the beautiful flowers.”
