PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Flo and Phil Moditz of Las Vegas sent this photo of their border collies, Jenny and Bonnie. They had said no more dogs, but when they saw Jenny, they knew. A year later, they adopted Bonnie.

“Our names are Casper, Coco, Yve and Paris, and our dad colored us using an approved coloring for dogs and cats — a vegetable stain that washes out in one wash,” wrote Kimble Gubler of Las Vegas. “You should have seen the bathroom after Dad did this to us. Our mom is still so mad at him.”

“My gorgeous Boston terrier Milo stares into the sky with his classic pensive glare,” wrote Rakeisha Eyvette of Henderson.

“Here’s a picture of our little girls, Zena on the left and Abby on the right,” wrote Gary and Bobbie of Las Vegas. “These girls are the love of our life. They are great friends.”

Marion Erickson of Las Vegas shared this photo of her cat, Manx. “She is 3 years old and keeps us all laughing with silly things she does. Manx has her own way of using her climbing tree.”
