PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“This is a photo of our Maggie Mae,” wrote Larry and Terry Quick of Las Vegas. “Maggie is an adopted kitten and is a ‘pot’ of fun. She was sitting in our large crockpot when this was taken.”

Gloria Bafia of Las Vegas shared this photo of Cleo, right, and Roxy. “I have been a lover of dogs all my life. We have always had multiple dogs since I can remember. ... I keep Cleo full time now. ... Roxy comes for doggy day care every day since my daughter is a working gal.”

“My name is Lowrider. My bone is bigger than I am. I’m a 3-year-old blue dapple. I love to play.” Her owners, Michael and Linda Rotolo of Las Vegas, say Lowrider is “a sweet and enjoyable pet and gives a lot of enjoyment to our family and plays with our other dog, Fatboy, who we just got for Christmas.”

Vince and Jean Mione of North Las Vegas submitted this photo of Savannah, a 3-year-old seal point Siamese that was rescued from the pound. “It was love at first sight,” they wrote.

Arthur Edwards of Las Vegas sent in this photo of his dog Maverick. “Sometimes I get tired of waiting to be taken for a walk, so I must walk myself.”
