PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View's pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

"Hi! My name is Bailey. I am a 1-year-old Hungarian vizsla. I love to swim every day in my pool. My favorite toys are my ball and chicken. I like to play keep away with them. I also love to play with all my cousins: Nikie (vizsla), Murphy (English bulldog), Lilly (Scottish terrier), Gilly (Bichon) and Teddy (Yorkiepoo). I am a very busy girl," said Linda Hitchcock of Las Vegas.

"My name is Cesar. I come from Queens, N.Y. I moved to Las Vegas in 2004. I am a house cat. I am so bored, and that is why I drink. I am 9 years old," said Vito and Ann Scaglione of Las Vegas.

"Holly Hollingshead turns 2 years old. The whole family celebrated the birthday - cakes that looked like dogs, balloons, hats and dog treats," said Edie Hollingshead of Las Vegas.

"This is Lacie. She is 13 years old and still so full of pep and love. She has never been fond of wearing a hat and always seems to stick her tongue out while posing," said James Cash of Las Vegas.

"Hello! I'm Paco. My time is spent gardening with my family, hiking and camping. I'm and outdoor kind of guy. I also love napping on my favorite blanket and in the sunshine," said Heather Rushing of Las Vegas.
