PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View's pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

"This is my cat, Buddy, who said, 'Don't laugh,' " said Donna Gleason of Las Vegas.

"This is Dukey, my daughter's Chihuahua. He is the sweetest thing, and she just loves him," said Amber Karanikolas of North Las Vegas.

"My pug Mei Ling is saying, 'I should have bought a king-sized bed,' " said Phyllis Price of Las Vegas.

"I want to introduce my two cats, Mittens, right, and Frisky, left. ... I got them from a rescue group standing in front of a supermarket. They can be very sweet and sometimes devils. I was surprised to see them on the window still standing on their hind legs and boxing and thought it would be a good picture," said Jacqueline Rogers of Las Vegas.

"Soma (pronounced SO-MAY) is a corgi mixed with Basenji. She's very playful and enjoys her stuffed hamburger squeaky toy," said Joshua Robertson of Las Vegas.
