PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View's pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

"After a long day at the groomer, I rush home to enjoy a good cigar. Benji is 2 years young." Submitted by Carmen Otero, Las Vegas.

"Hi, my name is Fiesty, and I love to be vacuumed. My mom does this to me every week as part of cleaning. I'm 14 years young and have a younger brother and sister who hide when the vacuum comes out." Submitted by Sharon Maure, Las Vegas.

"Hi. My name is Fremont, and I am a 4-year-old mini Schanuzer. I was rescued in September 2007 from Nevada SPCA Animal Shelter. I love to go to the dog park and play." Submitted by Eileen Tambor and Renee Vigilante, Las Vegas.

"Rosie is the golden retriever. Lacy is the cockapoo and cousin. Maya is my son's chocolate lab visiting from L.A. They have spent a lot of time together over the years. Sadly, Maya died while visiting her cousins in October. This picture is of the better days." Submitted by Sandy Ashley, Henderson.

"This is Rudy, my newest grand-dog on the occasion of his first bath! He wasn't too thrilled. He has two older siblings ... a pug and a German shepherd." Submitted by Pauline Mattes, Las Vegas
