PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View's pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

"Bear is just a bear dog. He never misses out on anything," said Jeannie McGarrah of North Las Vegas.

"We adopted Bob (Baa Ba Kitty) when she was 2 1/2 weeks old. She was bottle-fed and thus the name Baa Ba Kitty. ... She naps on the bed regularly. If we turn on the lights, she covers her eyes as if to say, 'It's bright in here,' " said Becky and Ralph Esquivel of Las Vegas.

"My name is Daisy. I am so glad its football season. I love to watch the game with my owner," said Robert Kindler of Las Vegas.

"This is my pet, a miniature Poodle who is called Sweet Feather. She got that name because she is sweet and she floats like a feather as she wanders through the home in her every day adventures. ... a lovely companion always there for me whether I am happy or sad. Someone to cuddle and listen to my bantering, and someone to sleep with and watch over me," said Mary Bennett of Las Vegas.

"This is Sammy, our pug, enjoying the beauty of a cactus in our yard," said Mike and Debi Larsson of Las Vegas.
