PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“Here’s my guy Dewey, a 2-year-old dachshund-terrier mix,” wrote Steve Paul of Henderson. “He was rescued from the Nevada SPCA in June. Dewey loves the dog parks and playing with all his friends. Pictured with him is his friend, Buster. Dewey definitely was top dog at the park on Halloween.”

“This is my Chihuahua, Mafia Honey, on Halloween. I rescued him from the street, and he has become the love of my life,” wrote Mimi DeHoedt of Las Vegas.

Margaret Taitano shared this photo of her daughter ToniAnn and her best friend, Slyvestor. “She wished and wished for a cat for her birthday, and her wish came true. Now they are inseparable.”
