PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Michele Rothstein and Tonya Harvey of Summerlin shared this photo of their three dogs, from left, Fi’ty Cent, Casper and French Fry, enjoying a morning “pupiccino” at Starbucks. “Casper is a 9-year-old minature American Eskimo. His best friends are stuffed animals, and he carries them around with him all the time. Fi’ty Cent is a 7-year-old minature pincher-Chihuahua mix. He loves to bury himself under blankets and stay warm. French Fry is a rambunctious 1-year-old Jack Russell terrier-Chihuahua mix. He looks so peaceful when he is sleeping!”

Karla Negroe of Las Vegas shared this photo of Chance. “This photo is a rare moment for him since he is so energetic. Chance is a 2-year-old terrier mix. We call him the Energizer puppy.”

Ross Miller and  Lori Martucci of North Las Vegas shared this photo of Rusty, a half-chow who is about 4 years old. “He was left behind by his owners that moved. He is the most gentle, behaved dog. He only has one problem: His tongue is too long for his mouth!”

Dianne D. DuCett of Las Vegas shared this photo of T.C., which stands for “Too Cute.” She is a Shih Tzu-Lhasa apso mix. She “was found on the streets eight years ago and has been with me ever since. She is my sole companion and so dear to my heart. I had never owned a pet. If I am in the bed, she is next to me. If I get down, she gets down and follows. She gets a pouting look on her face if I don’t take her with me.”
