PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“My Augie is a 6-year-old Westie who loves to endlessly fetch,” wrote Bean MacPherson of Henderson. “After a rompin’ good time, he can’t stop grinning!”

Aaron Till of Las Vegas shared this photo of Boomer. “He likes to chase squirrels and play tug-o-war with his monster rope. He also likes the beach and is always full of energy.”

“Our 3-year-old cairn terrier-Chihuahua mix loves the rain,” wrote Michelle Goodwin and Paul Hein. “He does not love his raincoat!”

“SaraBella is a desert tortoise who wandered into our lives,” wrote Barclay Wilson of Summerlin. “She loves her MegaDiet, a specialty food for desert tortoises.”
