PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Kristine Mariano of Las Vegas shared this photo of her dog Bandit. “I was the best birthday present my owner could ever get. I can’t wait to celebrate the next one with her.”

Jim Gilroy of Las Vegas shared this photo of his granddaughter Dana, 2, and her cat Brady. “They are watching squirrels at play in the trees back East.”

“This is our dog, Coco,” wrote Leslie and Chris Roberts of Las Vegas. “We adopted her from the Lied Animal Shelter. Coco has gone from a pound puppy to a pool puppy as she loves to swim.”

Sally and Bill Brennan of Henderson shared this photo, a golden retriever they adopted in May from the Golden Retriever Rescue Southern Nevada. “This was Sammy’s fourth home, and we had to work on his housebreaking, but Sammy adjusted and loves his new home. He’s very lovable, and my mother, who is 88, just loves him. He always asking, ‘Are you ready to go for a swim?’ And Mom obliges.”
