PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Joseph Hernandez of Las Vegas shared this photo of Angelee, a 7-year-old bichon frise, taking a nap on the windowsill.

“This is Bebe,” wrote Josephine Dalton. “She was the unwanted offspring of a papered mini dachshund and a Chihuahua.  So that makes her a half Mexican/German “Chiweenie.” I adopted her just in time before she’d been sent to the pound. I nicknamed her Chapstick because she lives to give kisses. And her favorite chew toys are my pens and foot orthotics!”

Phyllis Worth shared this photo of her 4-year-old Welsh corgi. “She is ... the best ‘fur person’ in our lives.”

J. Lewis of North Las Vegas shared this photo of her “grandpup,” Milo. “Grandma thinks he is the smartest and most handsome boy she’s ever seen.”
