PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“This is a photo of our King Charles Cavalier Buddy (1 1/2 years old) caught in a typical moment,” wrote Paul Fagone, assistant principal at Coronado High School. “He is always putting things in his mouth, and we’re forever chasing him around the house. Naughty dog! During Easter, he broke open a plastic Easter egg and was caught by my wife’s cell phone camera.”

Daniela Minsberg of North Las Vegas shared this photo of Foxy, left, on a walk with his girlfriend, Bella, who lives next door. I adopted him two years ago from the Dewey Animal Shelter. I want to thank the people who rescued him and the staff that cared for him. I learned with him that once abused, you can love and trust again.”

“I am Gringo, and I got tired of (flipping) channels since there is nothing good on TV,” wrote Javier Vergara.

Drew Schatzman of Henderson shared this photo of Spike, a 5-year-old miniature pinscher.
