PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Pat Decumpos of Las Vegas shared this photo of Douce, a 2-year-old Yorkie mix. “He likes to be in the sink and watch Mamy do makeup. He loves to be with Mamy all the time.”

“This is Fred,” wrote Bill and Audrey Weiss of Summerlin. “He is very playful. He is a year old.”

“My Chihuahua/cairn terrier mix Muscles gets so excited when he hears the dryer beep, letting him know the clothes are dry,” wrote Michelle Goodwin. “He jumps right in when I open the door and takes his nap in the warmth. He makes every day a great day.”

Phyllis Cayne of Las Vegas shared this photo of Teddy and Bear. “They are wheaten terriers, 6 months apart in age, and look like big stuffed animals. Their favorite pastime is floating on rafts and fetching toys in the swimming pool during our hot Vegas summer days.”
