PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Jackie Michel of Henderson shared this photo of her dog. “My name is Baby Michel and I am a 2 1/2-year-old neutered Maltipoo. I came to my ‘forever home’ when I was just a pup. My loving family was very patient while I (and they) learned the ropes of potty training and made sure I took behavioral classes with other puppy pals. I love just about everything, but my favorite things are traveling (always in my crate) and treats. I’m also a good sport with my sister, who really enjoys dressing me up in costumes for each holiday. I know I am one lucky dog.”

“This is Nikki (the quick). Had to leave a piece of garland up for him to perch on!” wrote Dee Hopkins of Las Vegas.

“Zoey lost her eye as a pup to her now-best-canine-friend Itchy,” wrote Ken Eaves of Henderson. “She is a very loving dog that loves to get into mischief.”
