PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“No need to look any further than an animal shelter for your new best friends,” wrote Barbara and Mel Andry of Henderson. “Our older dog Nana has been with us for 14 years and has been a K-9 therapy dog for at least 10 years. Penny is the cocker, and she is 5 years old. She is hyper but the most affectionate dog we have owned in our 50 years of marriage.”

“Tootsie the pug is wondering why Abbie the golden retriever is laughing,” wrote Roberta and Bernie Mesco of Summerlin.

“Sunny is a 3-year-old grand standard poodle,” wrote Denia Mette of Henderson. “He is, like most Frenchmen, wild about the ladies!”
