PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“This is the way to live life ... my three girls, Momi, Meow and Chibi, are relaxing in the backyard in the summer morning,” wrote Sachiko Bratakos.

“Both Sherman and Shylo were unwanted, and we adopted them,” said valley resident Sari F. Utschen. “We are so lucky to have such amazing and sweet dogs. These two photos are my husband, David, in bed with Sherman and Shylo.”

“This is Sinister Snipps, a 2-year-old jack rat terrier pup who was rescued from an abandoned foreclosed home roughly two years ago,” wrote Nikki Conte of Las Vegas. “We took him into our home with open arms and found out shortly that this young puppy had a passion for music and the ability to sing in harmony quite well with a guitar. Some say he is quite a natural. Sinister Snipps’ favorite pastime is making music with his best friend Nikki by howling to the music and doing laps around the backyard.”
