PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Monique Smitherman of Henderson shared this photo of her Chihuahua, Gafah, styling in his favorite shorts set. “I rescued him from Henderson Animal Control. ... In many ways, he has rescued me too.”

“Freddy is my granddaughter Gails’ cat,” wrote Lillian Perlman of Las Vegas. “When I visited Gail in Chicago last winter, Freddy climbed into the recently used open small dryer to keep warm. Freddy came from a shelter.”

“This is our mixed-breed dog Roscoe,” wrote Aubree Roper of Henderson. “He is our spoiled water baby. He loves water so much that when he was a puppy, he jumped in the bathtub with me! Even though he is getting older, he is still full of energy. I think that is why we love him!”
