PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Crystal Reid of Henderson sent in her favorite photo of her boys, Kodi, left, and Simon. “When they’re not picking on each other or chasing tails, they enjoy hamming it up for the camera,” she wrote. “I recently adopted them from my brother and sister-in-law who already had a full house with two little dogs.”

“This is Buttons and Hazel,” wrote Elizabeth Lischak of Las Vegas. “Buttons (16 years old) loves wearing my nightgowns. She walks all around the house and drags everything as she goes. Hazel was waiting to eat, so she caught a ride instead of sitting on the tile floor.”

William Pelow of North Las Vegas shared this photo of his dog Riley, who is about 2 1/2 years old.

“Allow me to introduce you to Barkley,” wrote Mary Reiff of Las Vegas. “He lives with two golden retrievers and thinks he is one, also. To me, he is the little prince of my life.”

“Everyone loves my babies, Winnie and Pooh,” wrote Jill Weathersby of Las Vegas. “Their favorite foods are baby carrots and apples. They especially love playing hide-and-seek with my grandchildren and steal the hearts of anyone who meets them.”
