Poo-yee, smell dis cooyon piece of legislation

Usually when I write something like that, it refers to something the Nevada Legislature did. But, good news!

This time it's Louisiana that done did it. That state passed a law making it illegal -- drum roll, please -- to use cash to buy things that are used.

The aim is to help police fight fencing. But, any second-grader can see the pitfalls. Hello, Goodwill? Hello, parish thrift store. Hello, mom and pop yard saler. You're going to jail if you sell things for cash.
