Prillers find thrillers at Bella Fiore

With a territory that covers North America and Latin America, businessman Michael Priller and his wife, Baerbel, found their base of operations at the gated Bella Fiore neighborhood built by Pardee Homes on The Falls Golf Course at Lake Las Vegas Resort.

Originally from Germany, the Prillers relocated to the United States two years ago to head up sales for an international company that produces water-efficient cooling towers. After a short time in California, they came to Southern Nevada three months ago in search of a new home.

While Las Vegas was never a "target area," according to Michael Priller, the couple was disappointed in the quality of new home offerings in their Coachella Valley location and decided to give Las Vegas a try.

"It was the right time to buy, and we wanted a new house, not a foreclosure that would have too many compromises," Michael Priller said.

After seeing a picture of Bella Fiore in a sales brochure at a supermarket, the Prillers drove out to Lake Las Vegas and were amazed at what they saw, according to Baerbel Priller.

"We love it," she said. "You really get the feeling you are in Tuscany or Provence, from the home designs to the landscaping and the surrounding scenery."

Located just off Lake Las Vegas Parkway alongside The Falls Golf Club near the resort's main entrance, Bella Fiore is a collection of homes surrounded by the golf course, scenic mountains and partial views of the Las Vegas Strip.

Bella Fiore's six floor plans blend with the overall Lake Las Vegas community's Mediterranean and Tuscan design influences.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, east to the freeway's end at Lake Mead Parkway. Continue east on Lake Mead Parkway to Lake Las Vegas Parkway, turn left and follow the directional signs to Bella Fiore, just beyond The Falls Golf Course. The model park is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday.
