Principal purchases 2012 SRX from Findlay Cadillac

Lucille Keaton rewarded herself recently with a new car.

The 18-year resident of Southern Nevada and principal of Hewetson Elementary School in Las Vegas now owns a 2012 Cadillac SRX purchased from Findlay Cadillac in the Valley Automall.

Keaton said she has been looking at Cadillac for quite some time and decided to purchase the SRX only a few days before Christmas.

"My oldest daughter has a Cadillac and loves the car," she said. "When I saw the new look of the SRX, I said that was the car I wanted."

She traded in a 2002 Mercedes-Benz for her new vehicle.

"I love the luxury of the SRX," she said. "There is also the security and the quality of the vehicle. I just feel very safe in the SRX."

The crossover came with front and rear parking sensors, backup camera, Ultra View moon roof, remote start, remote tailgate, dual power seats, memory seats, navigation system, Bluetooth communication system, OnStar, SiriusXM Satellite radio, Cadillac's four-year, 50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, roadside assistance, and four years or 50,000 miles of free maintenance including oil changes, filters and tire rotations.

The SRX is powered by a 3.6- liter engine with more than 300 horsepower.

Keaton said she is planning a trip to Southern California soon.

"The car takes regular gas. I don't have to use premium anymore," she said.

Findlay Cadillac sales consultant Mike Waldman praised the SRX.

"This vehicle comes standard with front-wheel drive," said the 18-year car business veteran who handled Keaton's deal. "I think as far as a crossover goes, for everything you get with the price point, it's probably the best buy in America."

Waldman said the SRX is the top-selling model in the dealership.

"The car suits everyone," he said. "It's a very versatile vehicle."

Findlay Cadillac is part of the Findlay Automotive Group founded more than 50 years ago by the late Pete Findlay, whose son, Cliff Findlay, now spearheads new and preowned dealerships in Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Idaho.

General Manager John Saksa heads the dealership. For more information, call 702-558-2600 or visit www.findlaycadillac.com.
