Providence swings into sales event
July 28, 2007 - 9:00 pm
The 1,200-acre master-planned community of Providence, located in the northwest valley at Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and Hualapai Way, is launching a sales promotion called Swing into Summer today and Sunday.
During this sales event, buyers can take advantage of a variety of promotions, incentives and reductions offered by participating builders.
Participating in the event are home builders such as Avante Homes, Lennar, Meritage Homes, Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers, Warmington Homes and Woodside Homes.
"The builders at Providence are committed to offering tremendous value to home buyers who are interested in living in a master-planned community, which, with its American Traditions theme and amenities, is unlike any other community in the Las Vegas Valley. Our Swing into Summer sales event will highlight the quality of life at Providence," said Deonna Stocker, manager of information center operations for Focus Property Group, master planner of Providence.
According to Stocker, Warmington Homes will participate with homes offered in the builder's Emerson community; Toll Brothers will be involved with its Franklin Park and Madison Grove neighborhoods; and Lennar will offer home buyers specials in its Barrington, Westminster, Arbor Ridge and Hampton Glen neighborhoods.
Other builders participating in the promotion include Meritage Homes with its Andover, Brookline, Concord and Salem neighborhoods; Avante with its Monticello neighborhood; Pulte Homes with its Easton Place neighborhood; and Woodside Homes with its Brookstone, Hearthstone, Somerset and Madison Colony neighborhoods.
"This is a great time for people thinking about buying at Providence to purchase a home, and for those that want to learn more about this wonderful community to come out and take a look," Stocker said. "We want to let everyone know about the promotion so that they don't miss out on the great savings and specials offered by the participating builders during this sales event."
Providence celebrates the diversity of American voices and features an American Traditions theme. Wide, tree-lined boulevards in the large central promenade and parks will visually reinforce the theme from every perspective.
To name the parks, Focus Property Group utilized names of American literary and historical icons. Huckleberry Park draws its name from numerous sources, most notably Mark Twain's classic character, Huckleberry Finn.
Providence's Knickerbocker Park was named in honor of literary great Washington Irving, whose "Knickerbocker Tales" are a collection of stories from 18th century upstate New York that include "Rip Van Winkle" and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," the tale of the headless horseman. The baseball parks within the community will be reminiscent of old-fashioned ball fields from our history.
Focus Property Group seeks to create outreach programs within each of its master plans that address a social cause within the community. In keeping with Providence's American literary theme, the outreach efforts focus on literacy and the master plan hosts activities throughout the year designed to help build a strong sense of community that values reading and creativity. The community already plays host to an annual literary festival and has plans for writers' workshops, cowboy poetry festivals and chataquas.
Along with helping residents celebrate literature and its rich history, Providence is dedicated to water conservation and the preservation of natural resources. With that in mind, the community ultimately will be planted with an estimated 4,000 mature desert-adaptable shade and specimen trees, along with countless drought-tolerant shrubs and plants.
The master plan allows for 33 acres for parks and 10 miles of trails systems. Also, 63 acres have been set aside for education -- land for two elementary schools and one middle school.
The community will be composed of an estimated 7,500 single and multi-family units in 39 subdivisions.
There are 15 home builders participating in the master-planned community. They include Avante Homes, Beazer Homes, KB Home, Kimball Hill Homes, Lennar Homes, Meritage Homes, Pardee Homes, Pulte Homes, Ryland Homes, Toll Brothers, Warmington Homes Nevada and Woodside Homes.
Astoria Homes, Fairview Residential, R/S Development are expected to begin offering products in future months.
