Pulte’s Paseo at Madeira Canyon to host opening

Pulte Homes will host a grand opening for a new model-home park June 2 at The Paseo at Madeira Canyon neighborhood, a residential village situated along the southern foothills of Henderson.

The event will include family friendly entertainment, old-fashioned ice cream treats, a special guest appearance by a Spider-Man character and buyer promotions, according to Larry Mull, general sales manager.

A total of 10 models, representing four collections, will debut at the event.

The village is located between the Anthem master-planned community and the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area.

"Going to Madeira Canyon is an experience. Its elevation and seclusion set it apart physically from the rest of the Las Vegas Valley, making it feel like a private retreat for residents," Mull said. "We felt it was important for guests to see for themselves the topography of the area. The only true way to appreciate the elevation and the views of the valley from Madeira Canyon is to visit and experience them firsthand."

Andalucia, Aragon, Catalonia and Navarra are the four collections modeled, and they feature homes ranging from 1,671 to 2,804 square feet. In their basic configurations, they offer two to four bedrooms, two to 3 1/2 baths and a two- or three-car garage. Customizing options are available.

Prices start from $334,990.

Also available within The Paseo at Madeira Canyon are designs from the Barcelona and Seville collections.

Barcelona comprises four single- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 2,843 to 3,483 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Each home comes with a two- or three-car garage; select residences also feature storage or workshop areas, or central courtyards. Prices start from the $600,000s.

Seville homes range from 2,559 to 3,799 square feet with as many as six bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. All three floor plans feature a three-car garage. Covered patios of varying lengths are optional in the backyards. They are priced from the $400,000s.

All homes within The Paseo at Madeira Canyon are constructed with the Diamond level of Environments for Living building technology. With blown-in cellulose insulation and dual-pane, vinyl-framed low-e windows, homeowners benefit from decreased internal and external contaminants; increased indoor air quality; decreased heating and cooling usage; and increased comfort, durability and tightness.

"Pulte was one of the leaders in adopting energy-efficient building practices, both in Nevada and nationwide," Mull said. "We continue to seek greater improvements to the homes we build, as evidenced by our adoption of Diamond level Environments for Living technology, the best available. Like Madeira Canyon itself, it is an amenity that has to be experienced firsthand to appreciate fully."

Pulte Homes offers its Signature Standards amenities package in all of its new homes, providing numerous brand-name amenities as standard features.

Also within the master plan is The Club at Madeira Canyon, a guard-gated enclave by Del Webb offering country club-style living for all ages. Eight floor plans range from 2,096 to 4,817 square feet. Prices start from the $600,000s.

Amenities within the 487-acre Madeira Canyon include walking trails, an arroyo, a planned park with sports facilities and playgrounds and a site for a proposed elementary school.

To visit The Paseo at Madeira Canyon, take the southern portion of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Eastern Avenue and go south, past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway, then turn left. Continue on Anthem about six miles, then make a left onto Bicentennial Parkway, a left onto Anthem Highlands Drive, a left on Democracy Drive, then follow the signs to the model park.

Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Wednesday, when they open at noon.
