Rasmussen: Reid closing on Sandoval

Democrat Rory Reid is within 10 percentage points of Republican Brian Sandoval in the race for governor of Nevada, according to a poll by Rasmussen.

The poll shows 50 percent of respondents choosing Sandoval and 40 percent preferring Reid.

Rasmussen reports: "Earlier this month, Sandoval led Reid by 21 points, 57% to 36%. Since early March, support for Sandoval has remained in the narrow range of 53% to 57%. In that same period, Reid has gotten 31% to 36% support."

Sandoval's "very favorable rating" was 26 percent, compared to 24 percent for Reid. The "very unfavorable" rating for Sandoval was 12 percent compared to 38 percent for Reid.
