LINDA RHEINBERGER NAMED NEVADA REALTOR OF THE YEAR

Linda Rheinberger, broker and owner of One Source Realty and Management in Las Vegas, was awarded the 2010 Nevada Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year Award. She received the award at an NVAR installation dinner held at the Hyatt Incline Village Oct. 1. The Realtor of the Year award is the highest award bestowed upon an NVAR member. It represents outstanding achievements serving the real estate profession.

Rheinberger has been in the real estate profession for 23 years. In addition to holding a master's degree in business administration, she holds the accredited buyer representative, certified residential specialist, certified residential salesperson and senior real estate specialist professional designations.

She is serving as the 2010 president of the NVAR.

The Nevada Association of Realtors is a professional trade association with 14,000 members.

Sahara Professional Center building sells for $175,000

Lee and Associates announced the sale of the Sahara Professional Center, 2069 E. Sahara Ave., for the amount of $175,000. The building measures 3,500 square feet and was owned by Zions First National Bank.

Voit Real Estate Services hires Benjamin Campbell

Voit Real Estate Services, a commercial real estate firm, has hired Benjamin Campbell as property manager for Voit Real Estate Services in Las Vegas, according to John Strockis, managing director of asset services for the company.

Campbell formerly handled property management and asset services with Grubb and Ellis' Las Vegas office where he was responsible for the property and asset management of retail, industrial and office properties.

Prior to that, Campbell worked for Colliers International, Panattoni Development and CB Richard Ellis Inc.

Campbell serves as an Education Committee member for NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and a candidate member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

He is a licensed Nevada real estate sales person and a LEED Accredited Professional. Campbell earned his degree in financial services from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Auction.com to sell Nevada foreclosed homes Oct. 23

More than 200 foreclosed properties in Nevada will be sold at auction Oct. 23 at Las Vegas Suncoast at 9:30 a.m. by Auction.com.

All properties can be viewed on Auction.com.

All homes are open for inspection 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 and 17.

To register online for the auction, go to Auction.com. The public may also register at the auction venue the day of the event at 8 a.m.

Auction.com has auctioned 29,500 foreclosed properties for nearly $1.3 billion.

"There is a fantastic selection of homes that must be sold," said Jeffrey Frieden, CEO of Auction.com.

"The lenders and banks are very motivated to sell these properties to home buyers and investors, so expect rock-bottom auction prices," he said.

Customers may register online for the auctions and prequalify for financing at at Auction.com.

"This is a very unique time in the real estate market," Frieden said.

"If you're thinking about buying, the best time to buy is now -- with low interest rates and low prices.

"We urge you to attend the open houses, preregister for the auctions and then attend the auctions, where you -- the consumer -- establish your own price."
